Catalog Release Pending - Price Change

Hi folks,

With the pending release of the catalog version of Platformer only a week away, I want to make a post, first reminding anyone still on the fence when/where to buy but also second, to inform everyone that there will be a slight price change to Platformer on itch.

The Playdate catalog only allows for full rounded dollar values for the price of the apps and games that are released there. To keep everything unified the price of Platformer will be increasing slightly to $5/5€ on the same day of the release (10th of September 2024) here on itch, to match the price on the catalog.

Hopefully this doesn't bother anybody. I guess the current 4.50 price can be considered an early bird price for those who nabbed it before the catalog release ;)

I appreciate the support and feedback everyone has given so far and I'm looking forward to future developments.
